I'll be the first to admit that I'm having a slow work day, and having already read all of today's Obama-centric news stories, kept up to date with my blogs and purchased my new Chicago vehicle sticker a friend suggested I check out the Chicago Reader website for their "Best of Chicago 2008" selections.
Seems a bit early for Best of 2008 picks doesn't it? I mean, we're not even at the halfway mark for 2008 yet...
Anywho, I was kind of suprised to see their pick for Chicago's Best Pizza, though I must say the place they picked does serve a pretty fantastic pie...

I just happened upon your blog and I love it!! I always say that there has never been a pizza that I didn't like!! I will add you to my favorite blogs and keep my eyes peeled for some new joints to try a pie at.

CPC needs to re-invade Coalfire...especially considering most CPCers gave Pat's Pizza an equal or higher rating except for El Presidente and I. (I was feeling 16.7% merciful that day since it probably deserved a 6 not a 7.)
You know what sounds like a great pizza?
an average of <1 topping per slice, negligible sauce, flimsy charred crust, and a ridiculous price.
