The Daily Herald recently
profiled Fred Rosati, the founder of the eponymous chain.
Rosati's now has more than 150 locations spread over 7 states: Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Arkansas, Texas, Nevada, and Arizona. Half of the restaurants are family-owned.
I used to get Rosati's all the time in Wheaton, where I grew up. It used to be my favorite pizza.
ReplyDeleteI ordered from one of the Chicago branches several times when I was living on the North side of Chicago and kept getting half-assed pizzas that took forever to be delivered.
They kept cutting diagonal slices and I could never tell if that was intentional or just sloppy. The pizza was never cooked consistently and the toppings was haphazardly distributed. Eventually, I gave up on them.
If you can find a good franchise, though, I think it's a pretty good pizza.
